We are a group of flying winemakers and we love wine! We especially love to challenge the norms. After many years working with wine from all over the world we wanted to bring the underestimated wine from “the wrong side” of the world into the spotlight.
So now we specialize in finding wonderful expressions of these exciting hidden gems in new parts of the world, that don’t just quite fit into the old rules and norms. Our vision is to represent wines from the New World, giving more consumers the opportunity to know and enjoy our favourite grape varieties from new and interesting places, just as we already do!
The Rebel of the range – our Riesling from fantastic Waipara. She’s a bit of a rebellious type, breaking the tradition of the aromatic Sauvignon Blanc with a just as aromatic Riesling. A lovely combo for those looking for an aromatic wine from New Zealand, but without the greenness of the typical Sauvignon Blancs from the region.
The Mystery – we never stop being surprised at how we can achieve such an elegant Pinot Noir from Australia, we find it quite fantastic that our producers mange to create such great and elegant Pinot Noir, from such a warm climate. The Scandal – She’s going to cause a scandal, she is a rule breaker. Many wine producing countries still view wine in a box as low value wine. Scandalous brings some of the best wines only to be found in bottle in to a practical BIB. This is going to create a Scandal.
